Day 46: Swiss fun in Mikumi
Friday 16 October 2009. Ah. Fun change. Talking in German and some French the whole day. Enough to start talking German to Tanzanian people instead of Swahili or English. Well, was great fun with the Swiss couple. Their first safari ever. My - lost count - safari. Been able to play a bit of tour guide and telling them what animals we saw. Birds, mammals. Fun! The 4x4 was a Landrover with cabin for 5 people, but we sat in the back on some benches in the open with a sun roof. Comfortable, great view. But not able to hear the driver tell anything about the wildlife. So my books and some of my knowledge were welcome. Made loooots of pictures. Not so many different animal species. Quite limited, but had some good moments. And the landscape is beautiful and diverse, which can't be said that much (diversity) of Serengeti.
